Irrigation System design, installation and repair services offered in Gig Harbor, Tacoma, University Place, Port Orchard and the Key Peninsula.
Cote Service provides the following irrigation system services to Kitsap County and Peninsula area homeowners:
Depending on your yard’s size and configuration, you may need multiple zones to deliver the proper amount of water for lawns, plantings or vegetable gardens.
As an example, vegetable gardens typically use drip systems which could be either ¼ inch drip lines or drip spray units. Lawn zones require rotary heads, with smaller areas often using pop-up heads. Bed and shrub areas usually use a combination of risers and pop-ups.
Start-up service begins with turning on the water in the “double check” (also known as a backflow preventer), setting up the timer to your specifications, running through all the zones, and making adjustment where possible. That process allows me to provide the best solution for your irrigation system.
Winterizations start with turning off the backflow preventer, then charging the lines using an air compressor to blow out the zones. This will prevent the lines from breaking during the winter season.
Additions or changes to your yard could require changes in number of types of sprinkler heads, or even need to add an additional one or more zones.
Estimates will be based on commercial products sourced through Ewing Landscape Supply, Tacoma WA.
